Try this aproach, first position the part with a sparing amount of white glue. When you have it right where you want it and have givin it a little time to dry, use very thin wire to apply some CA around the edges of the part. Thats how some of the ship builders get all those railings on the decks of battleships. It works good for me as well. Hope this helps.
