| Subject: | Modern US vehicle amber warning lights | |

| I wrote in earlier on this subject, the only response I got was to get amber sprues from a truck modler. I have checked around and have found nothing . Are there any suggestions on where to get something to make the lights ? I've tried to use automotive lenses, but they don't work out very well. Thanks for any help. On another note, after several experiments making spotlights, my final product came out pretty good. I had some sprue that was a little larger than normal, cut a portion down, rounded off in back with dremel tool, filed front flat,I used a micrometer to get all the same diameter. next cut a thin ring off a brass shell casing [used or fired] cut and bend to fit the light, this is the mount.I used super glue to attach. I hope this helps someone that wants to add these to a model, Thanks again for suggestions. |
