If you can find them, you don't even have to buy a full set.
Many places that carry the toys also carry replacement plug sets and patterns (try Toys'R'Us) for the kits.

You can also look on eBay for 'em... and you get many colors in the set.

There are a variety of ways to make lenses, all depends on shape, size and detailing.
