Hey Mark; As for a write up I sure someone will have one but I will share mine if you would like. To me the most important thing is the TP . You need the cheepest TP that is available and you will not find it in any stores in the US that I know of . And when I said cheep I ment no frills, no pattern, no lotions, no perfumes, and singel ply or John Wane TP (cause he was wrough and tough). I found mine at a park restroom. I layout three or four sections and spraypaint it with Tamiya dk green or red br. or olive gr.. I let it dry then flip it over and spray the other side. When it is dry I cut it size, now for a tarp I place it about how I wont it and using a full brush dipped in rubbing alcohol I start shapping it to fit at times I use a spray bottle with alcohol depending on size. This will take some trial & error but when you have it set and it's still wet this the time to put small rips or tears in it if you wont. After it is dry and hard you can go back over and dry brush with a lighter base color to bring out the wrinkles . You can use the same approch with bed roles. Also I use Rubbing Alcohol because it evaprates alot faster then water and allows you to work faster.
