What about using that thin tissue wrapping-paper used for clothes, silverware, jewelry and other valuables/breakables? Sometimes ya can get the guy/gal in the store to chuck a few extra sheets in when they wrap something up.
I'm usually the 'trash-man' that cleans up at Xmas, so I often have to collect this and wrapping-bags/boxes for possible re-use. Allows ya to be a packrat without being too obvious... Why collect it? Buying this stuff, as opposed to getting it at a dollar store, is expensive.
Its also good if you have kids... I remember using it to make 'stained glass windows' in grade school (I'm 40 now)
