Subject:  US 76 mm M1A1 not used on M10List thread.

 Date:  Oct 10, 2005
 From:  Frank Domalski
The US 76mm M1A1 Sherman gun (JR3542) is a different weapon than the 3 inch (76mm) gun used on M10 tank destoyers and the towed 3 inch gun.Although the caliber,76 mm,is the same they do not even use the same ammunition. The M1A1 gun IS used on the M18 tank destroyer.
