Hi
You need a slow speed so you don't melt/destroy the plastic.

I bought one of the super-duper rechargeable ones with all the bells and whistles. I used it with the 'saw' attachment on some work for our deck, and I've used it a bit on figure stuff. I hope Santa is delivering lots of the buffing/polishing wheels so I can use it more often!
