Well this didint exactly happen to me. It happened to my son.
He made himself a guitar out of elastic bands and 3 sticks of wood out of the garage. Having problems with the elastics popping out all the time, he decided to use my CA glue. It was the slow cure type and he figured the more he would put on it the better it would hold.
He did all this on the computer desk which is oak. He left it sitting there for an hour waiting for it to dry. Needless to say the glue ran along side the contraption and onto my desk. Bonding it. He freeked out when it wouldn't come off so he used a screw driver to pry it.
She still shows the scars of that fatefull day. On his birthday I bought him a real guitar.
