| I actually dont mind the indi tracks. What really buggs me is all the little fiddly bits at the very end. I really enjoy the initial construction, taking a bunch of sprues and assembling the basic tank. Then the next part I enjoy is the finish work. All those little things just get in the way and delay the fun. But, as I improve, I want to put more fine detail on to make it look more realistic. Sort of a catch 22. I think that may be one reason I have 17 models sitting mostly built on the shelf. I find it hard to push through to the finish work. Thats why I have made it my new years resolution to not start a new model until I have finished one of my "shelf queens". We will see how it plays out. |
