In real life it would have been made using a mandrel, which leaves quite distrinctive stretch marks (probably not visible in scale.
I would suggest annealing the portion of the tube that you want bent, leave lots of tube either side of the 'bend area and trim later. Then fill the tube with fine sand, ramming it in a hard as possible, and crimping shut both ends to hold the sand in place. Bend around a former (pipe, rod, bar etc) of right size of radius. trim to suit your size. Takes longer to type than do but the sand will prevent the collapse of the tube and come out easily after bending. Kind of field expedient plumbing trick when you left the spring thingey at home!
