Dan -
The glue used to glue on artificial finger nails works very well (I try to get one without oils or moisturizers, but they don't usually cause problems) and comes with an applicator brush. This stuff is a cyanoacylate mixture that solidifies a bit slower than regular super glue, maybe due to whatever the extra material is. It's usually cheaper than specialized hobby glues unless you buy a premium name brand.
