"OK, so I jogged the 3 mile"
Been a while since I last did that (don't even want to walk that far LOL).

1) When I get the kit, which paint should I pick up?? I was recommended Panzer Grey by someone, as it was used early in the war and is easy to apply, I guess?

You can do almost anything with these as they used cover for protection behind the lines (as much as 10+ miles). I would think about grey up to the end of 42 and yellow after that.

2) Am I correct in assuming that you should paint the pieces prior to cementing them together? What do you do this with? A paintbrush?

Again it’s up to you but I know some of the best builders would do this in two parts.

3) What supplies will I need for making and painting the kit? All iI have now is the cement.

If you were starting out I would recommend enamel paints, as you will find they don’t dry as fast as acrylic paint. This will keep the brush marks down.
If you were going to do it by brush I would tell you to get a can of "flat black" spray paint and coat the kit first. Then after a few days so that it was well dry I would “dry brush” it with light grey. This is an old trick for beginners to use (almost 30 years ago I was shown that LOL).
I hope that helps you out :-). Best of luck (and let us know how you get on :-)),
Steve
