Hi Alex

regarding the turning of the wheels, the second and third station would turn in a smaller angel compared to the first and fourth. I resonly read a tread over at Armorama (If I remember correctly) where they gave the max turning angles of the wheel stations.

As for the tires of the Dragon kit, the groove was there on some of the tyres used. However, from what I have read the sdkfz 234 vehicles used primarily standard truck tyres due to shortage of rubber. Many different tread pattern have been identified from war time pictures. However, some modellers believe that the groove is somewhat too distinct and if you feel that way too, just sand the inside of the tyres a little bit of fill the seam (not completely though)

I too have been building Italieri vehicles and like you, without complete satisfaction. Now I am still waiting for the Dragon to arrived in my mailbox (just bought one on E-bay) and then I will open it, feeling like christmass......... I just cant wait

Hope I was able to help you out.
regards,

Torben Nielsen
