Im pretty new to this level of modeling, but I have managed to make some decent tiny welds on all of the engine hoist hooks on the deck of my king tiger. I just pushed some epoxy putty into the crevice and then took a toothpick and cut the tip off to the width of the weld beed. I then (keeping it wet) pushed the the puddles of a weld into each other so they look stacked like the real thing. Then I took a small peice of plastic and just slightly pushed the weld evenly so that it would flatten out the puddles just a little so they wouldnt be too exagerated. After that I simply cut away the excess putty from the edges of the weld with a knife, slightly dragging away so the edges wouldnt be too defined. It was painstaking but I was very pleased with the results. If I can ever get around to fixing up a photobooth I will post some pictures.
