| I used the .50 cal. mount from the old SAS kit, then cut a square piece of styrene and glued it to the passenger side dash board as the mount base plate...drilled a hole and mounted the mount. I used the aircraft (think waist gunner) version of the .50 cal. from that new Academy MG set. I also used the Vickers mount from the old kit as well as the rear body panel with the twin spare tire mounts, and finally the radiator overflow tank on the front bumper (I just added an overflow tube from a piece of wire and drilled a hole into the radiator). I've still got a few hours work to go but I'm not going to try to max detail it. Frankly, I'm not as good with that stuff as most of your readers and its going so well I don't want to screw it up. |
