I use Squadron white and green putty on resin (Accurate Armour) and have never had any problem with it. I find it much easier to use then Milliput (no mixing, less waste, less messy) for this purpose, particularly for filling air bubbles and the like. It also dries more quickly. Never had any problem with the toluene affecting the resin, although that can be a problem with styrene.
