Hi Guys,

Personally, I prefer 20th Century and on (Roman soldiers didn't use track
links., did they?) BUT, with the recent affiliation of Osprey with
Missing-Lynx, who knows if TL should broaden their horizons?
Peter, what other web sites are out there covering earlier periods for
modelers?

Next, I'll argue about getting my Trumpeter Mi-4/8/24 onto TL since they all
have been armed and armored and are to an armor scale of 1/35th. If I
succeed, then why not my 1/72nd scale Mi-2/4/8/24, Ka-32/50 and AH-64? Hold
it, isn't the A-10 thunderbolt also armed and armored. Weren't all these
called flying tanks? Wasn't that misnomer given to the Henschel 129 and the
Ilyushin Il-2 Stormovik?

Now the lines are blurred.

"My views are that figures are discussed, reviewed, shown as long as they
are
AFV related (tank and maintenance crews) or could be included in an AFV
diorama." Christophe

Well, my diorama of a sharkmouthed UH-60 delivering a fuel bladder to an
awaiting ground unit (one M-1 Abrams with a set of eyes on the mine plow
plus a USMC LAV with sharkmouth) should fit right in since the majority is
AFV related, the scene is to 1/35th scale, and reviews of all the updates
used on the UH-60 should not be ignored since it is an important part of the
diorama.

Obviously, lines must be clearly defined and changed when the time comes.
Changing does not mean to allow them to blur, just defined in a new
direction.

OK, I'm off my soapbox!
Cheers,
Saul Garcia
PS- The dio mentioned was thought about but the size required would ensue a
divorce ;-) Perhaps 1/72nd?
