The boxes have the numbers listed, but are thicker than the old boxes and are the seperate lid type. The painting guide on the back of the first issue box is now inside on a color sheet. At a wholesale level i think the kits are numbered and then have an X or something after the number indicating the special issue. The kit box does not have an extra number or anything.
