let's say that, hypotheticly, someone wanted to convert some existing stock figures into canadian infantry on peace keeping duties in say... bosnia. what would be a good starting point for this? it seems to me, at first glance, that a U.S. army vietnam era figure would be the best bet. from looking at the DML figures, the pants and shirts, especally on the first cav figures look to be pritty close. a but there's probably a bunch of diffrences i'm not seeing. would it be better to scratch build? are there any larger-scale figures (1/16,1/12,120mm,75mm) on the market that might be a good stating point (preferably in a more relaxed pose rather then an action pose)?
