Hi Tang,
Seems that I had the same problem. My figures were not that good (Now they
are OK! Still room for improvement though!)until I realize that the paint
was not thin enough. The other thing was that I had to spread it. There
was too much paint. So Now I try to lay a thin layer of paint. The other
factor that make a big difference (and by the way, I've discovered that just
last week!) is paint brush. The brushes that I used to have, were ok but
not top quality. Last week, I've purchased brushes, Winsor & Newton, Series
7, the best brushes that you could buy and believe me, it is the best thing
that you can buy to improve your work. (Well, it is true for me!) Yes they
are expensive, I've spend over $60 can. for only 3 brushes and I'm waiting
for one more but My God, It was so easy to paint with it! No more stroke
marks!
