Ken, I have struggled with the same problem. She looks a lot better on the cover than in plastic...Kinda the old "went to bed with a 10, woke up with a 2" story.
Anyhow, I also have Junior Town figures and be warned, they take a bit of work to get to look right painted. I am not sure if it just the figures I have or what, but it seems that while they are sculpted correctly, part of the face seems to be dimpled in more than the other. I suspect a molding problem, but I have 2 figures that have this problem. They are nice kits, and you can buy them at www.greatmodels.com in the USA.
THe Hornet heads are VERY nice, But I cannot find mine right now. IIRC they have NO HAIR! Also, do NOT buy the Historex female heads...they are 1/32 scale and they are for mainly 1700's older women..crones...etc.
If the Hornet heads do not excite you, I recomend the Junior town kits over anything else (like verlinden or custom dioramics.) |
