Thanks so much for your comments and critiques. The figure is one of two that came in the Verlinden German Tankers with Jerrycans. I wasnt sure of the exact camo pattern or colors for the pants so I tried to duplicate what the box art showed(hard to do with such a small picture). The jacket was painted with an enamel base and shaded with Paynes Grey lightned with white to try and get something similar to the pic on the box.
Do you know of a reference site that has oil paint mixtures to get close to some common german uniform colors as I am pretty new to oils I am not sure what colors combined make what. Again thanks a lot for your comments, Take care Ralph. |
