Doing a camo scheme like that is a multi-part affair, I've found. First, you need to determine the base color of the cloth (in the case of Woodland BDU's, I think that's a mid green color). Paint that on and shade it with highlights, etc. -- all the good stuff that you usually do. After that's dry, make up the other colors in a thin, almost ink-like consistency. If done correctly, when applied over the shaded base color, they'll assume the same shades and highlights as the base. I've used this technique for a number of years with great results and they're convertible to just about any scheme. I've enclosed a pic to show you roughly what I'm talking about.
Good luck
