When artillery crews (post D-Day) were operating in armour (M10's, Sherman
A.O.P'S) at Corp, Inf' or Arm' Div levels did they retain the infantry beret
or adopt the black narrow band beret more usually associated with armoured
troops? In the reset photo I'm working from a crew in pixie suits operating
in the A/T arm of an inf' Div appear to be wearing narrow band berets, but
colour distinction in B/W is obviously tricky.

Thanks for any help,
A.Hill
