Hi Hassan

The wash method of adding shadows is great for starting out, but I've moved
away from it too.

Actually, working with acrylics means that you have to use lots of different
applications of thinned paint. Washes, glazes etc. In some ways it's like
starting over. Have you tried acrylics for faces and uniforms yet? I've pretty
much moved over to them entirely. I'm not ready to get rid of my oils or
Humbrols yet, but I can see that possibility!
