Hello Julien!
You've already received some good information concerning your kits proper painting. However, it should be noted that the kit's paratroopers belong to the Waffen-SS. The unit was the only Waffen-SS Fallschirmjägerabtailung (battalion) in the war. If you want to paint them to depict Waffen-SS paras, you have to take a closer look at the equipment. Althought Fj.Abt 500 wore standard Luftwaffe paratrooper uniforms and weapons, their belts, y-straps and bread bags were standard Waffen-SS issue. In other words leather was black and the bag was khaki. The Luftwaffe's leather was brown and the bag could have been black canvas. These Drvar raiders also wear mountain boots.Of course, it's very easy to build and paint these troopers to depict ordinary Luftwaffe paratroopers.
