Have just bought the Dragon 1/35 figure set called 12th SS HJ Panzer Grenadiers at Norrey en Bessin, 1944. Two of the MG42 team are wearing one piece overalls with a strange (to me) camouflage pattern. Unlike the many variations of SS smocks we are used to in the pea or oak leaves patterns, this camouflage from the box art seems to be made of two greens and a brown in broad patches, not unlike modern day British army European camouflage. Is there anybody familiar with this outfit? I am wondering if anyone has tried to replicate this camouflage, and if so what Tamiya, Humbrol, Vallejo paints they use?
