I know what you mean, I've got two of these sets myself. These are coveralls in italian army camouflage. Clothing in this pattern was one of the trademarks of the Hitlerjugend division during the Normandy campaign.
If you follow the link below and look for "SS tarnjacke in 1929 italian camouflage", you'll find some pics that are usefull. This pattern was very popular though not official, and was made into caps, jackets, coveralls, camouflage smocks, etc.
