I received two 120mm Airborne Miniatures figure kits for Xmas--the USMC Force Recon figure, reviewed on Track Link a while ago--http://www.track-link.net/reviews/k984 and the two-man Scout/Sniper team. Plastic kits are more my thing, but these two kits looked too kick-*ss to pass up on, so I put them on the list for Santa and he was nice to me. :^) Anyway, these are among the first large-scale figure kits I've attempted, so I'm looking for some hints & tips.

I know I can use CA as glue, but I was wondering if anyone has tried to use something like epoxy putty to assemble these? I started working on the recon figure yesterday, and it looks like the fit of the hands/M4/M203 assembly to the arms and the arms to the torso might be finicky, so I'm thinking that an epoxy putty might give me time to get everything lined up and fill any gaps in one shot.

Comments? Suggestions? Wisdom?

Thanks in advance,
Curtis
