I've assembled a few resin's in my day, and am working on a few more complex ones now (Kirin's Panzerbuchse & Verlinden's Nebelwerfer)

Pins, pins, pins! I pin'd both of my 'Oddball' figure, as his ankles snapped. I also pinned the neck, which allowed me to move the head a bit before deciding on a final position and applying the CA.

I also agree that working under water or a running tap when sawing/sanding is the easiest way to keep the resin-dust to a minimum. I managed a very neat trim of my Panzer crew commander's binoculars.

I also loved the tip of nicking foil from old ointment tubes for straps instead of buying lead foil.

I'm still looking for a supplier of Carr solder paste though, Canada won't import the stuff any more, new 'hazardous materials transport' regulations.
