Sean, mostly what was worn was of ww2 origin. 44 Pattern tropical greens was a typical summer uniform but I have seen pics of BD trousers with JG shirts and sweaters Khaki. Winter clothing was the WW2 tank oversuit and two piece windproof in cam patterns.
US winter jackets were common during the retreats from North Korea where they were " liberated from abandoned US vehicles which were frequently found. The Aussies document finding whole units that just left most of there gear in place and bugged out. 3rd BN RAR equipped itself with the Excellent US winter sleeping back via this channel along with a substantial qty of MT.
