Hi everyone,
just want some advice from experts on figures. I am doing up a pair of snipers but the soldier kit is not from Singapore Armed Forces (SAF) since there are no SAF soldier kits....
I am in the process of painstakingly glueing strips of camo netting on the snipers to simulate their ghillie suits to look like SAF soldiers. Here's the question: Is there a orthodox or unorthodox way of doing up figures for diorama display? Now they look bushy and don't even look like the original box kit that I bought.
I understand if its for my own viewing, then it's fine. But if i want to post pics for everyone to share, am I violating any rules? because I haven't seen any modellers revamp their figures totally out of context (in this case sticking foreign objects on them).
Thank you for your comments in advance and it will be taken seriously into consideration. |
