Alex,
Thanks for the info. Got that book, haven't looked at it for a while. Now's an excuse to get it out again. Superb book, I agree. Some of the photos were taken at a place I used to work, Duke of York's HQ in Chelsea. Martin Windrow appears as an "extra" in some of them, he's in the "wedding group".
P.S. Had to keep my feet firmly on the ground in my service days - I'm scared of heights & get ear trouble at altitude! Once flew to Rheindahlen in a Lynx hitching a lift with an AAC pilot, & he hedgehopped all the way. Scared me to death.....
