I've never complained about DML's, Tamiya's or any other firm's release
policy and I was always happy with most of the new kits that came out in
recent years. I've been visiting TL, ML and other modelling websites for
three years now and I never participated in any discussion about topics
like "Too much German, not enough Allied kits" or "Why this model, not
that?"and never commented on anything like that. I remained quiet and
built my models.
Some time ago someone posted a list with DML's new figure sets and one
of the releases caught my attention : 6162D "Winter on set, near Moscow
1941". Naive as I am, I thought that finally someone makes a set of
freezing German soldiers in ordinary winter grey coats in plastic, not
resin, which was long overdue and would offer a ton of dio
possibilities.
But today I checked the Italeri website for the new DML figure releases
and. Correct me if I'm wrong, but as far as I can see from the drawing
of the box art, it will be SS soldiers with camoflage smocks over the
wintercoats........8-(
Why SS, I'm so dissappointed. There were God knows how many Wehrmacht
Pz. and Inf. Divisions fighting for moscow in 1941 and DML is doing SS
again. Are people really only happy when figures wear SS camo, so DML
even have to put it over wintercoats...........

Sorry for my moaning, but I had to say this.

Greetings, Lukas
