Gazza,
Yes, I remember Hinchcliffe well. I never bought any of their figures, but I can remember reading all about the company in Military Modelling in the 1970s. They used to produce a range of 1/32 scale white metal artillery pieces including a 2-pdr & 17-pdr (I think?)which were masterpieces for their time, long before resin came along.
Hinchcliffe also produced the superb white metal figure of a Samurai Taisho or commander, sculpted by Ray Lamb in 90mm I believe. This figure is still eagerly sought after by collectors.
Under Two Flags is still going, the original owner sadly passed away a few years ago, but it is now run by his son. I live in the London area (Croydon) & if I go up to town I always visit the shop if I can. It's like an Aladdin's Cave, a little treasure house for modellers & he always has some superbly-painted figures on display.
Please tell Mr. Hinchcliffe when you see him again there are a lot of people who haven't forgotten his brother's contribution to our hobby.

Cheers & Happy New Year,
Chris.
