Wow,glad so many have such great memories of that time.Under two Flags was in a little alleyway as discribed.I grew up in Ilford ,Essex and would go there as ofter as possable. The old boy who ran the shop was a real gent. You could tell he realy loved this hobby.I remember standing in wonder at the large glass case diorama of the battle of isandlawana[if thats how you spell it?]which was all done in Hinchcliff figures,on display at the shop.Another great shop at that time was'Tradition'which sold Napolionic figures[Is that one still about?]As for Mr Hinchcliff's brother ,he said He still has a box full of His brothers kits at home, which he would sell to me if I wanted them.He said they are field guns, figures and a lot of ships.I was not aware that they made ships, but then was never realy into them. Will tell you what I find ,when I get to see them. It's nice that we can remember the greats of our hobby from back then...Pete Gilder,Mr Hinchcliff,The bloke who owned UTF etc. There dedication to this art,was a gift to us all.
