Hello again,

Sorry, didn't mean that I glorify war or anything. Yes, I didn't forget the horrors of recent conflicts.

I shuddered with disgust when I saw that much "sought-after" internet video clip of a Russian soldier (not much older than me) getting his head dismembered slowly (while alive) by Chechen rebels. I condone both sides of the conflict for the horrors suffered by all involved.

What I meant by "extended periods of peace" refers to countries that haven't experienced war in the past 50-years (I am not naming any). Alot of people have began to forget the lessons of war, and the glorification of the S.S. is a sad reminder of the complacency.

*** Back to modelling related subjects. ***

I will continue to model German subjects. If companies like Tamiya or Dragon releases more Allied subjects I will buy them too.

I do want to see more Allied figures though. We are not getting enough British and American subjects. There are also many Allied subjects currently untapped.

I really wonder why companies like Dragon even goes so far as to release kits like "Fallschirmjaegers walking with a Donkey" when we have things like the heroic stand of the 1st British Airborne in Arnhem.

Sincerely,
-=Yc.W=-
