Hello José,
Probably kicking in open doors but do not compare TriStar figures with Dragon's Gen-2 series of figures.
These Gen-2 figures stand head and shoulders above the rest detail wise.
Which is logical since they are manufactured with a different process offering much more possibilities for detail.
Having said that based on my experience with 4 TriStar figure sets I would rate them an average 6 out of 10.
Usually details like folds in cloth, pockets and so on are not really very crisp and a bit vague.
My latest TriStar set was cat.no. 018 "Last Consultation GD" a group of staff officers with a very large map.
Though the set is really excellent on originality pose-wise; a refreshing departure from the average I find the detail lacking. Fit of arms and heads needs quite a bit of trimming and puttying.
If you can live with that I would recommend TriStar figure sets for the slightly above average figure builder because of the extra work that needs to be done to make them good.
Happy Modellimg
