One thing I hear over and over is that if the manufacturers offered more Allied
kits then those who purchase Axis kits more frequently would go more for the
Allied offerings. I can't speak for everyone, but myself, I prefer German and
will continue to buy all German. I am certainly not pro Nazi, rather difficult
when you are Jewish, and I don't buy the propaganda either. Personally I am
attracted to the interesting camo and complexity of the uniforms. They are just
little plastic kits, and the little plastic kits no matter what they stand for
are no political, they are just models. Several vendors do resin castings of
Attila the Hun and I Robert E. Lee. Never heard mention of the fact that Attila
was a famous slaughterer of innocents and Robert E. Lee the representative of
an army and a political way of life which supported the oppression of a race
(sounds a little like National Socialism).

DML, Tamiya make plastic kits to make money. The US is a very small market for
their kits. The markets where the majority ot the kits are sold clearly prefer
Axis kits, afterall companies tend to do market research before they invest
huge sums of money into production.

My end.
