Helmet base coat was airbrushed with 'dark' shade from uniform (the
darkened base coat used for the shadows) using Tamiya acrylic.
Drybrushing was done with Games workshop boltgunmetal (or some such
name). Next it was dusted with chalk pastels. First with a dark moust
grey and then the rust spots picked out with orange and burnt sienna.
Either a good method or beginners luck.
