You learn something new everyday. I cannot wait to try your flattening technique.
Sometimes I ask our printer to add the flat varnish to the black ink, instead of varnishing after the fact. It looks very cool and saves us an extra color cost for the varnish plate... I don't know why I did not think of it for black figures earlier... but you did!
