This is the one I remember seeing, too, on ML I think. There may have been a series of in-progress photos as well. I'm not sure, but I think the modeler might be the guy who takes old 1970s Tamiya figures and carves them up with detailing to look like current resin figures.

If you come across another site with these figures let me know. I'd like to see how someone can improve upon this work.
