This Aspest thing is khaki/grey color, wery rough and stowed in the MG accessory box or in the barrel cannister when not in use. (I do belive that
the latter is more correct)I should know, have used it several times during my time in the Army with a MG 42 (or MG 3 as it is called in the
Norwegian Army now). And a absolut must when changing barrels after 200 rounds
