Subject:  Reversible winter trousers - were they issued to army units?List thread.

 Date:  Jun 21, 2001
 From:  David Levy
I have this warriors panzer crew figure, who is an SS chap I believe (aren't
they all ... ) - no SS runes, but he does have the German eagle on his
sleeve instead of his front pocket.

He is wearing a black panzer jacket and the heavy padded, reversible winter
trousers - supported by suspenders. Were the Heer personnel ever issued
these distinctive trousers? I am hoping to adapt this guy to be a Heer crew
member, hopefully by just filing off the eagle.

Thanks in advance,
David.
