I am wondering if the leather uniform is accurate as so often depicted
for this guy in Normandy during the Summer of 1944. I realize that they
are supposed to by U-boat uniforms, but what makes me wonder is the time
of year. Wouldn't it be a little too warm to be wearing leather pants
and a jacket in France during the summer?
