I bought a couple when the paratrooper line was new (when was that, 1975?). Anyway, I still have one on the shelf painted and looking at it right now I would have to rate it as an average metal figure with some soft detail (especially compared to the new resin figures). It probably would look alot better if I painted it now since I hope my painting ability has improved. Depending on the current cost, I would go ahead and pick up one or two to see what you think.
