Forums - Modelling / Kits

The kits forum is for the discussion of model kits. Typically questions on availability or certain subjects and quality of existing kits are posted here. Short reviews are good here too.

Hi

The Shanghai Dragon Brummbar was the first kit with indy links I built. It was a great build. I wrote an article for some modelling paper a while back and see if I can track it down.

The late Brummbar kit goes together quite well, aside from the fit of the rear deck and the superstructure. There was a big gap there as I recall, so it was a bit of a fight to fit it all together. My recollection is that the kit matched up well with various pictures available on the net and in the Squadron Nashorn, Hummel & Brummbar book.

Actually, a quick look on this site reveals the core of my article:

Cheers
Andy
