I remember seeing the Italeri 6-rad in a list of new kit announcements -- but I've seen nothing since. I would be delighted if the Italeri kit really does appear -- does anyone have an update on this? The HiPM kit is certainly no prize. I can't imagine Italeri would do a rebox of this one. I think the bad press they'd get would probably offset any revenue from sales of the kit!
If you DO decide to tackle the HiPM, I suggest getting the Royal Models update set, also -- it's worth the money, in my opinion, and will go a long way in correcting the kit's shortcomings.
Of course, I got the HiPM 231 6-rad about a week before I read about the Italeri kit! I'm saving the Royal set for Italeri kit
