I can't see how to include more than one image short of putting it on a site somewhere, so here's #1.
The questions are:
1. Location of trunnion access notch in shield side (up/down)?
2. Location of trunnion access notch in shield side (relative to gun)?
3. Location of lifting lugs?
This is about the most direct side view of an E6180 shield that I have. The lifting lugs are not at the top of the shield but actually very close to the notch. The sides have a large radius at the corners and this is about as far up the sides the lugs can go without being on the radius.
Note that shield is not symmetrical about the trunnion or gun axis.
