While I understand your DML rant, I can say that they are the only company doing a quick revision on their products.

As for getting it right the first time, not that easy. Even Tamiya have plenty of dogs in their pound.

So, what about AFV Club? I have been satisfied with each kit although some have been difficult to build. Other beauties depend on what you want to build.

Example, the Trumpeter BJ212 (Chinese jeep) was an absolute pleasure to build and accurate to boot. Tristar's Pz I Ausf. A only needs hollow tooth tracks to be extremely accurate. Skybow kits were excellent (should be are since their 1/48th scale Tiger seems nicer in details than Tamiya's).

So what do you want to build?
